WELCOME TO THE MONKEY BAZAAR The place to find the very best monkey arts, crafts, diaper covers, toys and goodies
I am fortunate to meet lots of great monkey moms and have discovered that so many of them are talented artists, craftspeople and seamstresses. There is a wonderful variety of monkey related goodies they create and I thought would be fun to bring them together here for our very own arts and crafts bazaar. If you are looking for great diaper covers, monkey clothing, hammocks, bed sacks or blankets and waist belts and leashes. We also have monkey moms that do cute pot holders and tea towels with monkey appliques. Plus, we know where to find all sorts of monkey related items to share with you. General sizes. Each monkey should be measured to assure fit.
Size also depends on the diaper size and diapering method, tail wrap or cutting
a hole in diaper, and how snug you like it to fit. Tail hole will be higher in
the back if you tail wrap and lower when cutting a hole for the tail. I am
always happy to custom fit your monkey.
Measuring your Monkey
Diaper covers:
Measure around the waist over the diaper, from tail to top of diaper in the
back, the tail hole, from the tail hole to the top front of the diaper. Shirts/Dresses/Jumpers:
Neck, around chest, around waist, back of neck to tail.
N2 fits infant capuchins 1-8 weeks, squirrels 4 weeks - 6

Custom sewn. Outer layer is duck cloth, canvas types of fabric
* Can upgrade to denim at additional cost. Lining will be Sherpa unless you request
same as outer fabric, faux fur, or fleece. The box will have one hole unless you
request two. Sizes are approximate: small - through size 16-inch will have 4 loops
made of strapping, larger sizes will have 6 unless you request a fabric chute across
each side for running PVC through to hang. I am happy to make a custom size.

SECURITY LEASH SETS Made by Janice Metzger
The security leash set is made up of three parts:
1) Waist Belt made of nylon webbing with a colorful print
overlay is equipped with 2 rings to accommodate a padlock. 2) Matching 3-foot leash made with your choice of rings
at the ends for padlocking, or clips at the ends for quick connecting and
releasing. Please specify when ordering. 3) Wrist cuff made of coordinating fabric to which the
leash attaches, either by ring and padlock, or by clip.This provides hands-free security for
your leashed primate.
OPTIONS
COLOR - A rainbow of webbing colors and print overlays are
available; too many to show all choices.Please specify boy or girl and your color theme preference when
ordering.I will choose a
coordinating combination for you. SIZE - Waist belts come in SMALL (7-11 in.), LARGE (12-15
in.) and CUSTOM (any size you specify).
WIDTH - Belts and leashes available in 3 widths,
1/2-inch, 3/4-inch, and 1-inch.The 1 inch width is large and bulky and is best used for larger primate
species. CONNECTIONS - The ends of the leash are finished with
your choice of clips, rings, or one of each.If you plan to padlock both ends of the leash you will need
to order rings at both ends.If
you do not wish to use padlocks, you will order clips at both ends.Or if, like me, you prefer using a
padlock at the "monkey end" and a quick connection to the cuff, you
will order a clip at one end and a ring at the other. If you do not specify,
this is the configuration that you will receive.
